So sorry to hear about Esther's passing. She and Phil were friends for years. We spent many weekends together at our hunting camps at Stony Brook and also at their home on the St. Lawrence River. Phil was our river guide-we never hit a shoal and Esther was the hostess with the mostest. They always opened their home to all their friends and were 2 of the most sociable people i had the honor to call friends. RIP my friend. You will be missed.

Dear Phil, Dick, Jim and Carol,

Praying for you during this time of loss. Esther will be missed. We have lots of fond next door memories. This morning I picked up the beautiful crochet blanket from the back of our recliner, she lovingly made it for our wedding gift (twenty-nine years ago)! We still use it regularly. The picture you choose is beautiful.

Love, Steve and Ellen Durant

To Esther's entire family, would like to express deepest sympathies. Esther and my Mom (Mary Curran) worked together at the Department of Labor for many years. They were great friends and remember them sharing much time together. I had the pleasure of running into Esther usually about once a year in these most recent years & loved reminiscing and catching up. Will always remember her warm smile. So very sorry for your loss.

My condolences to Esther's entire family. I had a chance to meet Esther in the early 1980's when she worked for the Dept of Labor and she was able to provide me with a number of high quality employees, including her son Dick. She was always so jovial and pleasant, a joy to have as friend and a neighbor, as I discovered that we lived within a mile of each other. I have lived in Florida for the past 25yrs, but still keep in touch with my family in Ogdensburg and Morristown. Keep on laughing and smiling Esther, you were a great lady!

Phil and family. I am Esther's third cousin, Mabel Henry and my grandmother Hazel were sisters. We last seen you people in 1981 when we came and stayed overnight at your home on the river, I my two boys and my mother. we had a great time. I have been thinking of Esther and just decided to look her up, so shocked to read her obit, always loved her and we had so much fun when we visited her grandparents on the farm, many moons ago. Her picture is just as beautiful as I remember. So very sorry for the loss, guess we were the last ones of the clan. Sympathy to the family. Pat
